Online Auction for Ukraine

Between the 13th and 18th March the Society held a fairly spontaneous online auction in aid of the humanitarian disaster in Ukraine. Members kindly donated 40 paintings that were then offered via social media and the website with a deadline of 8pm on Friday 18th March.

In all 21 paintings were sold with many being bid for several times. Our posts reached over 4000 people and over 700 people visited the website page.

The sale and other donations have taken the total to over £1000 which has been paid directly by members to the Disaster and Emergencies Committee Appeal that is found here. With Gift Aid contributions the total will be much higher.
