Margaret Gray

When I paint.... I am mindful of colour and light and I try and capture a three dimensional quality so that the subject has depth and interest.

While i like to be "representational" I also admire the qualities that the impressionists brought to their paintings, so my work could best be described as a mixing of both styles.

I joined Broadstone art society in 2009 and shortly afterwards I was very pleased to be awarded the pro loco prize for my painting, in oils, of Honeybrook Farm garden.
