The Auction has now finished. However, the Art Society continues to support Diverse Abilities, its chosen charity for this year.  Members kindly offered paintings for auction between 30th Nov and 7 December.

Remembering Dennis Hill who died earlier this year

Dennis loved being outside, and the nine paintings which follow are a reminder of just how busy he was each summer.  All paintings kindly donated by Sue Hill, Dennis’s daughter.

Special Painting by Alastair Michie (1921 - 2008)

The painting below is by renowned Scottish and Dorset artist, Alastair Michie, and has been donated by the present owner. The painting was purchased 20 years ago for £250 and inflation alone brings the market value to over £400, hence the high reserve price.
