Broadstone Musical Markets

In August, the Art Society took part in the first of three Broadstone Musical Markets.  Craftspeople and community organisations displayed their work at brightly coloured stalls and gazebos, while local musicians presented a varied programme of musical entertainment.

We generated plenty of interest in the Society through our display of paintings and cards, with many people stopping by to chat about the artwork and ask about membership. Some brave artists even set up their easels and produced some sketches of the day’s events.

The Society was supporting the Mosaic Child Bereavement Charity and raised over £70 through a game which involved finding Vincent’s Sunflowers.
