Spring is here, and our new Exhibition is on the way!

From Saturday 25th May to Sunday 2 June the Art Society will be displaying members’ work at the Youth Centre, Moor Road, Broadstone. This temporary gallery can be found opposite the Moonlight Restaurant and just around the corner from the Goods Yard pub. This time there is a section focusing on music as a stimulus for painting.

There is also a section devoted to the work of Dennis Hill who sadly died in April. Dennis was our longest serving member having been in the club since the 1950s. He went on to become Chairman and President and also made a name for himself nationally. Dennis would have been 100 years old this year and was still painting regularly. One of a kind, and a true inspiration.
