Margarete Tucknott

Margarete an experienced artist works in oil and cold wax and mixed media and also in acrylics.

Inspired by the landscape and the natural world , and the intricate surface that nature produces, Margarete works intuitively to music allowing the work to develop its own language . 

A love of colour and the semi abstract and abstract forms which develop demonstrate the exciting nature of Margarete’s paintings on paper, canvas, and wood panel. 

Margarete’s influences include artists, Karen Darling, Lisa Boardwine, Kyffin Williams, Joan Eardley, and Bonnie Brown,

to name a few.
