Philip Winkley

After retiring from a working life in Finance Philip decided to do something he had always wanted to do but never had the time, painting.

While living in Guildford Philip attended various classes run by local artists.
Philip joined Guildford Art Society for 7 years where he was able to benefit from attending workshops, demonstrations and painting with other members. 

Upon moving to Poole 6 years ago Philip joined Broadstone Art Society and was again able to gain experience from all the Society’s wide range of activities. Philip likes painting in watercolour, acrylics, and acrylic inks. 

In 2019 Philip joined the cooperative Poole Printmakers and is currently enjoying printing, and learning about all the different techniques and processes.
