Simon Merry
Simon practises from his home in Wareham and has been a member of the Society since 2015.
In 2019 he completed an MA in Fine Art at Arts University Bournemouth where his work developed from the literal towards a more abstracted representation. Most of his work focuses on the landscape but also the idea of journey. Simon tends to work in acrylic and watercolour but incorporates a variety of other materials and his style is constantly evolving. Recently he has taken to scribbling! He often uses a grid framework which he describes as being compositions within a composition.
